A picture perfect golf course, there’s not a single golf course quite like Colne Valley Golf Club. When you see the view of the North Essex countryside from the first and tenth tee you’ll know your day of golf will be special. The array of colours is unexpected – the startling green tees and fairways, and the seasonal colours of surrounding fields, create a scene of incomparable beauty.

The fantastic scenery at Colne Valley is exquisite, one of the best in the area. The golf course encompasses 130 beautiful acres of rolling hills and trees – very rare for a course so young!   The undulating fairways offer a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. You’ll see an occasional deer, hear the sound of woodpeckers, and you might even spot a kingfisher by the river as you enjoy the natural ambience of Colne Valley.

From the white tees, the course measures 6,316 yards and plays to a par 70.  The course is conceded to be one of the tougher courses in Essex and has hosted many major Essex amateur competitions. But fear not, with two additional tee placements at 5,950 yards for yellow tees, and 5,303 yards for red tees (Ladies), Colne Valley can provide as little or as much of a challenge as you need.
