Stanmore is renowned as an interesting and excellent test of golf.  Rebuilt by famed course architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie in 1921 we are very proud of the golfing challenge Dr. MacKenzie left us a century ago and spare no effort in offering our golf course in a condition that competes with the very best in the area.  Shot placement off the tee is always important here and anybody who goes too far off-line will struggle to make their par on our strategic era classic.  False fronted greens and cleverly positioned bunkers allow the really proficient golfer the chance to showcase their golfing abilities to the full.
